Cancellations Policy

Overview

Menopause Nurse Out Loud is committed to providing high-quality consultations and group sessions that support the health and wellbeing of women experiencing menopause and perimenopause.

This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are managed to ensure fairness, flexibility and continuity of care.

Cancellation fees

To ensure fair access for all clients, the following cancellation fees may apply:

Less than 48 hours’ notice: $30 cancellation fee (deposit retained)
Less than 24 hours’ notice: $60 cancellation fee

Individual sessions

I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes things may come up that will prevent you from attending an appointment. If you’re unable to attend your scheduled session, please contact me as soon as possible by phone.

I kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to offer the time to someone else who may be waiting.

If your circumstances are genuinely unavoidable, please reach out. I will do my best to accommodate where possible.

As a small, nurse-led service, your time and mine are both valuable. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee or affect future bookings.

Group sessions

Group sessions are small, personal and carefully planned to create a supportive learning environment. Expenses such as room hire and materials are paid in advance to ensure a high-quality experience for all attendees. For this reason, once a ticket is purchased, it is non-refundable.

However, I understand that plans can change, so the following options are available:

Tickets are transferrable. If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to pass your ticket on to a friend or family member.
If you can’t find someone to transfer to, please let me know.
If I’m able to fill your spot from the waitlist, you’ll have the option to reschedule to a future group session or use the ticket as credit toward an individual consultation.

Thank you for supporting a small, nurse-led business. Your understanding helps me continue offering meaningful, accessible menopause education.

Participants are also reminded that all group sessions are conducted in a respectful and confidential environment. Each attendee agrees not to share or discuss any personal information or conversations outside the group.

Missed appointments

If you miss your scheduled appointment or fail to attend a group session without prior notice, the session fee will be non-refundable.

Cancellations by Menopause Nurse Out Loud

In the unlikely event that a consultation or group session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled by Menopause Nurse Out Loud, you will be notified as soon as possible.

You will be offered the choice of a full refund, credit or transfer to another available date.

Refund method

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method, if possible, within five to ten business days.
